D Piano Girl Johanna is a Pianist, Singer/Songwriter and Creative entrepreneur. Her mission is to inspire others through her own Evolution.


She is a Four-time Trinidad & Tobago National Music Festival winner, winning the National Championships in every age group she entered over consecutive years.

At 11 years old, she was awarded the title of “Most Outstanding Instrumentalist” of the entire T&T National Music Festival.


This musical star has also practiced Engineering & Human Resources Management and holds degrees in both fields.

Johanna’s versatility and musical dexterity has allowed her to perform several different genres of music, including Caribbean music, as evidenced by her memorable performances at Trinidad events such as “Kes - Tuesday on the Rocks” (2019), “Machel 40” (2023) and her own show “D Piano Girl - Evolution” (2023), and for international audiences such as the Dominica Jazz Festival (2019, Ubersoca Cruise (2019), her own intimate “pop-up” show in Beverly Hills, California, USA (2021), and the Dominica Sip on Songs Jazz Event (2023).

In 2020, Johanna founded the "D Piano Collective," an innovative online learning forum designed for piano students eager to learn during the pandemic. Harnessing the power of the internet, she successfully connected learners from around the world during a time when social distancing was essential. D Piano Collective continues to thrive, offering a dynamic educational experience that transcends borders.

In 2021, Johanna added Singer and Song-writer to her already impressive portfolio, performing on her own and also collaborating with various artists.

In 2022, D Piano Girl Johanna appeared as a Co-Host on Trinidad and Tobago Television’s (TTT) all-new Twelve & Under show, hosting and performing with ease and grace as she supported the mentoring of the nations’ youth on camera and off-camera. She has held effortlessly held other media hosting roles such as hosting for the Caribbean Passport TV programme (2019 & 2024).

Hailed as a true daughter of the Caribbean soil, D Piano Girl Johanna continues to highlight the beauty of Trinidad & Tobago with her exquisite and diverse musical arrangements which compliment her breath-taking music video production, set in iconic spots such as The Queen’s Park Savannah and the Savannah Stage, The Adam Smith Square Carnival judging point on Ariapita Avenue, the majestic San Fernando Hill, the historical Chaguaramas Tracking Station, the Temple by the Sea, and the Brian Lara Promenade. She hopes to create similar music videos featuring the beauty of other Caribbean Islands.

Her ability to elevate any song with musical elegance and soulful energy continues to wow local and international audiences.
